Bokod, Benguet — In a resounding victory, the talented members of TAJUJAW BAND from the picturesque Municipality of Bokod showcased their musical prowess at the Adivay 2023 Inter Municipality Battle of the Bands, held yesterday, November 23, 2023, at the Benguet Sports Complex Gymnasium in Wangal, La Trinidad, Benguet.
Comprising the dynamic ensemble are Ever Cayat, Erlyn Cayat, Erelle Kate Cayat, Ener Mark Cayat, Le Ann Begseng, Jay Carlo Peckley, and Kmar Alasa-as, whose electrifying performances resonated through the venue with renditions of "Liwanag Sa Dilim" and "Adivay."
The fervent cheers from the audience were met with a well-deserved consolation prize of P5,000.00 and certificates of recognition awarded to TAJUJAW BAND for their outstanding contribution to the musical spectacle.
Mayor Thomas K. Wales, Jr. expressed his heartfelt congratulations to the band, commending them for proudly representing Bokod and thanked them for sharing their extraordinary talents. He urged the talented musicians to continue inspiring their peers with their exceptional skills.
